St. Mary’s cricket team started in the early 1980’s. Initially only playing the occasional friendly once or twice a year. The number of fixtures gradually increased so that by the early ‘90s we were playing almost every other week. Gradually it became harder to arrange quality fixtures, and for the 2002 season it was decided to join the Hampshire Cricket League. |
